Ingredients
  1. 1 bunch fresh asparagus, thick or thin
  2. 1 TBSP olive oil
  3. 1 Tsp MV Sea Salt
  4. One squeeze of fresh lemon (not the whole lemon, just a squeeze)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 (convection) or 400 (regular)
  2. Rinse asparagus. Snap off tough ends. Dry in clean dish towel.
  3. - if oven roasting in oven then lay asparagus on baking pan in single layer and cover with olive oil
  4. - if pan roasting then heat pan, add olive oil and when it shimmers, add asparagus in single layer
  5. Oven: place in oven and set time for five minutes. Shake pan. Repeat. After about 10 minutes the asparagus base should be fork tender. Remove from oven when tender. Squeeze lemon and then sprinkle with MV Sea Salt.
  6. Pan: on high heat, jiggle pan after about five minutes, then again every couple of minutes until the asparagus is uniformly bright green or even beginning to darken (my favorite). Remove from heat, squeeze lemon over top and sprinkle MV Sea Salt on top.
  7. Serve immediately.
Notes
  1. Feel free to substitute green beans for asparagus.
