2013-11-23 22:41:16

Stored well, this cranberry sauce will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator. So make it ahead and keep it on hand to add sweet-tart flavor to roasted meats and sandwiches when you're in a hurry.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cranberries
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup honey or rice syrup
- 1 teaspoon grated rind from oranges
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon MV Sea Salt
Instructions
- Combine cranberries, apple juice, and honey in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes until berries pop. Remove from heat and stir in salt, grated orange rind and walnuts. Cool to room temperature and then chill in a covered container.
Notes
- Some folks prefer leaving the nuts and orange out and still love the taste. Go ahead and put a spoon of this in your yogurt.
